The Premier League needed a new digital platform that would integrate their new brand identity provided by DesignStudio. Along with a fully responsive, dynamic website we would also produce several native applications.
I worked on a number of different aspects of the Premier League digital products working alongside the lead designer Martin Bly. I initially started out helping design the UX of the website to create a fluid user experience that was extremely flexible and could also handle a massive amount of data. I then began to help visualize the interface after we received the new Premier League branding.
A lot of my focus was on the native applications which brought together the whole Premier League digital experience into one package. This was a huge challenge as there were many different sections of the Premier League that were previously in smaller, seperate apps. The new structure now means that the user never needs to leave to app and can check the live Premier League scores alongside their fantasy football team’s current points haul.
